Join successful professional photographer Steve Maller in his first public workshop. Steve will help you fully understand this exciting medium in two fast-paced, custom-tailored sessions. The first session covers fundamental areas that are crucial to shooting like a pro: understanding light, using your camera’s manual controls, and how to process photos in your computer. Steve will also share secrets of the pros, such as the $40 tool that can replace thousands of dollars of lighting equipment. You then have two weeks to use what you’ve learned on your homework. The second session gives you the opportunity to share your photos, discuss your approach, and get a personalized critique by Steve. You will share your favorite photo, and also a “failed” photo, and you will learn from both. You’ll learn how to build rapport with your subjects, the best time of day to make your photos, and how to effectively share your work online.
