For many years now I have been (as their former COO Dan Rosenzweig called me) Yahoo!’s official bar mitzvah photographer. For dozens of gatherings, primarily aimed at their advertising clients, Yahoo! have asked me to document the goings on. One of my favorite subjects is these little guys, which are replicas of the “Big Idea Chair”, an award which is given in recognition of outstanding achievement in interactive and online advertising. I’ve shot these little guys all over the place, and for whatever reason, they bring me no end of amusement. This one is poised with a lovely view out the window of the Pacific Design Center (aka the Blue Whale) in West Hollywood at a recent Yahoo! Creative Conference.
