This past week’s big baby clothing catalog shoot involved a huge amount of planning in order to process the dozens of kids in the smoothest way possible. I dragged out every piece of gear I have (including a few I had to buy for this), as well as recruiting every person whose skills could make this happen. So this is the “stage set” I built and a sense of the scale of what I did. To the right in this photo is the computer station, which was served up images wirelessly (in real time) as I was shooting. This made it possible to get a verbal “OK” from my clients so we didn’t have to over-work the kids. When you are working with one-year-olds, that’s particularly tricky because you have only a few hours to work them per day. And in reality, we rarely got more than one good hour per day out of them. But we ended up with a few rock stars who gave us almost three hours!
